In collaboration with the Gutenberg Research College (GFK), the Research Unit Historical Cultural Sciences invites outstanding outside scholars to Mainz. They are intended to pursue their own pertinent projects, above all, however, to support the Mainz Cultural Sciences with the reflection of methods and theories. Those invited take part in the Research Unit's colloquia and conduct workshops and conferences themselves. They thus promote the development and networking of projects, and at the same time enrich internal university discussions and the training of the rising generation of academics.
At present there are no GFK-Fellows in Mainz.
